Millivres Prowler Group Funds The Lobby Group Stonewall With A Massive Cash Sponsorship
PinkPaper reports;
Directors at Millivres Prowler Group, which owns the Pinkpaper, have revealed they are to be a major cash sponsor of the gay lobby group Stonewall next year. Their donation will put them on the list of three other major supporters - JP Morgan, IBM and Mayfair Cellars.
MPG's £25,000 will be used to back to major equality campaigns, one will raise awareness of the new Civil Partnership Act for same sex couples, while the other will encourage people to use their vote in the general election. They will also support the Stonewall riots anniversary and the lobby group's annual Equality Dinner. MPG chairman Chris Graham Bell said: "We are proud that the success of our business is being used to promote gay and lesbian rights in a practical way.
MPG has historic roots in gay and lesbian rights campaigning and has strong values and beliefs regarding the support of civil rights for our community.
