Norway Rejects Same Sex Marriage.
Norway's Parliament has rejected a Bill that makes same sex couples applicable to the countries national Birth, Death and Marriage Act. Norway already has a partnership scheme that grants every right of marriage, except adoption to HBT couples. The new Bill was opposed by the prime minister Kjell Magne Bondevik's Christian Democratic Party and by right wing Parliamentarians.
Which just proves that even with the scheme they already have for same sex couples, is just a national promotion that the HBT community is not equal and never will be seen that way, if they have their way.
