Printing instructions For All B-F-P pdf Documents
Only use half as much paper than most people would use
Save multitudes of printing paper: Why Just print straight off with out using any settings?
The largest document on the B-F-P site is 142 pages, but you wouldn't have to print 142 sheets.
All B-F-P documents have been formatted to a left and right readable presentation like a book so that you can print both sides of a sheet to save paper.
Instructions:
When want to print a B-F-P pdf document,
1) Go to your File menu and click print.
2) When the firs Print options window appears, it should have clickable "Print Range settings" which gives you 3 options that should state:
- Print all Ranges
- Print Odds
- Print evens
3) Click on the "Print Odds" command option
4) Attention: You must always make sure any other settings are set first before click Odds, because when you open another print option window like properties button to set paper layout / quality and size you cancel out the odds command.
5) So Providing you have all your other printer setting already set like quality and size etc, the odds command should be last thing you do, before you press "OK" to print.
Read following carefully
6) Once You have printed the Odds side of the sheets, then you must put the whole paper stack you printed back in the paper feeder to print again, BUT!!!!
YOUR PAPER MUST BE UPSIDE DOWN AND THE BLANK SIDE FACING OUT TOWARDS YOU!
The reason for this is so that when you print the evens, it will print the right way up on the blank side of the paper making a double sided print.
7) Once you placed the paper back in paper feeder and the right way round and the up side down: Go to the file menu and click on Print to open the print options window and select "Evens" in the print ranges option.
8) The click OK to print, and you new B-F-P document should be printed as a left to right readable book ready for you bind.
And you have saved half as much printing paper than you would have by just pressing OK to print without making any settings.
